If you are looking for a reason to switch to VoIP from your traditional landline, Axvoice Caller ID could be the one.
The caller ID Name and Caller ID Number are saved by a national CNAM database in the U.S. so when someone makes a call to your Axvoice VoIP line, we access the database to find a name that matches the incoming call's number. Note that this feature isn't available for every number.
The CID Number is a free feature available with every Axvoice Residential and Business plan. However, Axvoice charges a small fee for the CID Name.
The caller ID Number feature is enabled by default on your Axvoice VoIP while the Caller ID Name requires an activation.
To enable the Caller ID Name, go to the "Features" page on your AXvoice web account and select “Caller ID Name” from under the “incoming Call Features” tab. On the “Caller ID Name” page, click on “I want to enable this feature” to enable the Caller ID Name feature.
